Today I celebrate 18 years with Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator. Where have all the years gone? I remember the first party I went to and wasn’t sure about it, but I did enjoy making the cards. Of course I bought some basic supplies that the demo recommended and within weeks, I decided to sign up to save money. That is the number one reason why why folks sign up! I am happy to say that I’m still enjoying stamping and making cards, and teaching others about the craft.
In my early days, I approached things more as a business. I had a few downline gals, and had a monthly group. You can learn more about this in my upcoming book, Bless Your Heart. The book is still being edited but I hope to finish it soon. It’s now a murder mystery with stampers as sleuths-sort of. My editor said I needed more tension, so alas, some killings helped.
I’m still doing monthly card classes for folks in the hood. Wish I could get a few more ladies interested. Busy getting ready for my daughter’s wedding so I’m using my crafting skills for place cards and swag bags.
Again, thank you to Anne who invited me to that party back in 2005! I’m here if anyone needs anything. Join me and save big-right now 35%. There are always sales going on so check out my website to learn more or place an order. If you’re local, reach out and I’ll be able to help you.
Enjoy and Happy Stamping!
